Default Finishing up soon.

PICS

As far as a base, I was thinking about gluing up scrape and cutting two wedges |> <| so it can stand on end.

Maybe on the side would be better.

It would be fun to have a stack of these.

They have unusual sound to them (which I like); they crack like a
Bull Whip.

Looks cool but more complex to build, unfortunately.
Actually, bjorno's tapped quarter wave pipe (TQWP) is a simple build. There are no angles to deal with.

TH = positive flare.
T-TQWT = negative flare.
TQWP = no flare.

Sitting as is:

21" wide

9" tall

50 1/2" long

The knuckle test is good, sounds good-n-solid.

It's not bad, no kids/dogs here though.

This box is working very nice, a little more detail in the low bass. Also for 1/2" wood, it sure sounds soild!

Talking Floor Pounder

I had a chance to listen to this all weekend, it's a winner. The bass might be a bit stronger than the other 3, maybe because the mouth/woofers are tight into the corner.

Interesting though, I don't feel the box vibrating.
