Hello

I finished to test, with this two modules Infrared Remote Decoder Module Power/Volume/light Contr | eBay and L298N Dual Stepper Motor Driver Controller Board Module en vente sur eBay.fr (fin le 11-sept.-11 18:36:05 Paris) you just need a good 9V 1A transformer and a PSU with two LM7805 (one for motor and one for modules)

It work perfectly

Hi pascall, can you show any photo's or schematics of this setup please?
I'm looking for the 'simplest' motorised volume controller I can get and it's hard to find.!

Pascal ? Where did you go ? I'm interested too. I don't mind walking over to the rack to turn on the amp; I don't mind walking over to switch the input. I don't need mute; I can just turn it down but I do want remote volume control.
If I have a clean amp and DAC source I do not want PGA2311 in the middle. I want to use LDR volume with 100K log pot but want to control the pot from my chair.

So for a more current BOM :

Could be a very simple/cheap solution if it works
