Hi,
you only need one output ground link. This PSU Zero Volts is NOT the Main Audio Ground.
Take a lead from PSU Zero Volts to your Main Audio Ground.
Take all other references to the Main Audio Ground.
Do not take all the amps voltage references to the PSU !!!!!!

One inconvenient of the board : there is only one output GND. I'll have to use a connector or make 2 new holes in the GND trace. An Idée ?

Regulated supply build ! Works fine, very usefull for trying amps because it is possible to change the output voltage. 2X30V AC tranfo, 45DC ; i've try output from 30DC to 42 DC. Only 2X10000uf on the psu board. Zener= 8,2V.

You don't need 10000uF/100V, with 2x30V AC use 10000uF/50V or 63V.

ORIGINAL SCHEMATIC (almost the same) has been used in legendary UK HH amplifiers played by Rollingstones back in 70's
I got an original board please take a look, it is a beauty...

Question on Power Supply

Hi,

I have home made power supply for my amplifier.
It was manually turn by my self.

The secondary output were 60 0 63 volts ac.
After rectified output voltage becomes 84.6 0 84.6 volts dc.

Is this ok since secondary ac is not equal but after it was rectified it become equal voltages on the DC.

Need expert advice here.

Yes you get equal DC voltages (higer) on caps after rectified, you can disconnect 60 volts ac and with single 63 volts you still have +/-84.6 volts dc.

I just concern on the un balance ac voltage on the secondary winding.

You have to make sure to have 60 0 60 otherwise you will have unstability. If you mak amp using this schematic (I will post it later) +-84 V DC is fine if output transistors have VCO 120+ (use 2N3773 or better Japanese audio transistors)

Yes you can use it. Voltage is to high for this amp, what is your amp, do you considering to use Regulated PSU?

Now i have to try one of your amp ...AX14 or FX100 ???

FX100 is classic topology, I suggest you to try AX14.

Ok for AX14; board is etched this morning . Some components are already soldered, have to wait for others. Can i use 33uf/63V in place of 22uf /63V ? i've them .

You can use 33uF instead 22uF, and use this wireing circuit for test.

apex.i build this ax14 amp.but,its not work.my problem is when i connect speaker.resistor side 2sc5200 become very hot.and when i check ac voltage at output.its have high voltage.what must i do?how to check bjt with multimeter?
