MDA fuse for a glass fuse.

I have an mda fuse in one amp that blowed up.
Can I put a 250v glass fuse in its place ? is the mda slow blow or something ? Thanks.
Cool.

Read what it is printed on the label and look at the specification. Then decide for yourself.

I cant find the B&K manual, but I suspect this guy is a slow blow ... that I tossed in a fast blow and promptly blew one after the other - killing 4-5 ...

Anyway I better find this guys schematic or I am toast.
Cool.

Maybe if you shared what the item is, part number/description and what it is used in, we could offer advice or an equivalent?

This is fuses F1 and F2 in a B&K avr 507 - and if you find the schematic or any thing on it please send me the link too. Its got MDA 2 written on it, I dont have any other details on it, and I think it has to slow blow, cos that cap isn't filling up. Thanks so much.

Cool.

power it up through a bulb tester.
That will show if there is a fault.
Then you can try a T rated fuse.

If this is the fuse then its a time delay (slow blow) fuse
