A-class Preamp PSU

This PSU I use for SS Preamp. Output voltage +/-24Vmax.

BD241 and BD242 must placed on heatsink. With 1k output voltage can be adjust. This PSU significantly reduced TIM distortion of preamp, and have low HF impedance.

Shunt regulator on this circuit is from 1989, in this time was called A class PSU.

Fets on preamp circuit are K170 and J74, sorry for mistake.

Start with zener diode, is also shunt (parallel) regulator.

Really like that shunt reg design. But isn't 24V secondaries a little tight if you want 24v output?
