It may take a little more than 4V7, so leave yourself some upward adjustment room.
Looking good. 🙂

I don't know how nominal the 4.7V figure is, so I would do as Uncle Mike suggested.
small CCS plus 4 Green LEDs in series , then trimpot across them ?

Thanks Gentleman's for Yours councils.
Build autonomus bias psu with his own tramsformer is my choice.
I got LM317 who can work up to 1.5 A it's ok or need add current boost transistor for IXYS bias psu ?
Greetings
no need
for bias circ 10mA is overkill
lm317 is too crude
use TL431 or something .......... better than 317

From 4V7 to ~ 8V
Thanks Mighty

Haha, I was also thinking: why on earth is there a crystal on the board 😕
But it is a exotic resistor...😀

Original Mr Pass schematic is perfect for Schade 50W.
The possible bias voltage starts from 4 V to 12 V.
Build this amplifier is enjoyable
🙂
SOT-227B package is handy: two sources, isolate electrically case.
