I really like that music video.
Getting things back up to speed here. I pulled this out of the mothballs today. That's Nelson's BAF 2015 Schade Amp, and yep, that's .04%! 🙂 I was trying out the mu follower tap. 🙂
I'll be working on getting these DIY-ready.
Superb elegant Schade 50 pcb's boards.
Btw more IXFN140N20P can be on command back in Mouser stock.
Kindest regards
Hi all, just to complete information of big SE built on posts #651 to #667, I would like share harmonics pattern to some outputs at 4 ohm. I do not know how is the ideal pattern, but it looks nice. I did not heard it yet because I disassembled it until a few days ago that my good friend Steve asked me about this harmonics information.
Anybody knows if this harmonics pattern is enough good?
Now I want to built the second channel and adjust them to 16 ohm and hear..
Best Regards

hello,
how to choose the sweet spot according to curve tracer data?
i mean what current and voltage we are after by measuring the curve?
thanks.

Finding the sweet spot by eyeball from IV curves is not practical or realistic. It has to be measured in situ. I did a YouTube Video on this that may help.
Buena Aclaración maestro. Good aclaration Teacher.
Do you suggest that the QA400 is a good tool for a hobbyist?
Thanks in advance.

I've never tried a QA400, but resolution-wise it appears to be much more than adequate for this task. Most soundcard setups would be adequate, I would think. Jan Didden's automatic attenuator would be a nice accessory for that purpose.
