May this could be interesting

PCB single sided, 2 wirebridges, L shaped Alu-Profile for mounting to case.
used SMD Parts (1206) where possible.

Before to go further with this design I would suggest you to review creepage and clearance for mains connection side of the PCB. You routed audio ground too close to the mains input (they share the same terminal).

Thanks Wayne!

I actually had a set of boards from Meldano in my hand but I took them to work.
While I was away on a trip they moved our cubicles around and...
No sign of the boards since.
Ahhh, live and learn.

The headphone amp project became third inline behind:
1) Pearl II - all parts ordered and boards already mounted in chassis.
2) Soapstone plinth for a restored TD-124 II w/ SME 312s arm - All the mock-up templates are done and entered into the CAD program. The soapstone is here and will make a trip to the water jet shop soon.

I'm looking forward to listening to the new front end in a few weeks.

Hi,

I loaded Wayne's file into Online Gerber Viewer and the drl file does not align with the rest. Has anybody noticed that? Or is it PiCNiC (problem in chair not in computer)

No ... the file appears incorrect. The drill seems to match the original PCB design 6L6 posted, not the latest.

wayne - can you please repost the latest drill file?
