Monaural Pre-Amplifier like X0.2/XP-30 so as Integrated Amp - very special and rare

Monaural power amp devices are nothing special - there are a wide range of manufacturers.
But for me very special are pre-amplifiers and integrated amplifiers in a monaural design.
And such design's I prefer
Unfortunately I know only this examples from each kind of amp.

1) Monaural Pre-amplifier: only the currently available Pass XP30

The preamp models X02 and XP30 are more consequently aligned to high performance, because the power supply has been extracted along with the operating/VF-display unit (with a lot of devices, which are critical by a close arrangement of the signal path) of the actual pre-amplifier devices.
This wasn't realized by the integrated Amp from JVC.



Who knows additional examples of this very rare genre ??

For this reason it would be a good idea, to replace the presently output stage through a very small power amp stage in your preamplifier for a special integrated amp series (e. g. arround 2-6 watts output power at 8 ohms) for directly connecting of high efficiency speakers (or also even low efficiency and small speakers like ProAc Tablette or Auratone 5C in very small rooms).
The already massive housing envelope is entirely sufficient as a heat sink by this wattages.

In your currently monaural preamp models unfortunately this massive aluminum housing parts are not used as a heat sink.

NP is a man capable to do so many things , but he just isn't capable to make small Pass amp ...... (without forced cooling )

somehow I can't imagine PL making D class amps ( ok - I remember that pic from Ark , but that was ..... )

The AMR AM-77 is a Stereo Amplifier, however it can be switched to mono operation and multiple units can be slaved together. So it kind of applies.

In Mono-Mode the solid state output stages of the two channels (it is a hybrid amp) are paralleled up on the inputs (and also outputs too if the single output mode is selected - bi-amping is the other option in which case the outputs remain independent), everything else just uses the left channel's circuitry.
