I have back up so no problem but the old computer is sooooo slow.

I could hear it in the next room. Now the nice big shiny computer is silent and the little dusty one is all that's left. I sure had got used to multiple processors and all that jazz. Happened to me. Cap or tranny in power supply. Took it to the guru. Put in new power supply. In and out five minutes.

Again, my first thought.as was stated the imacs have notorious "bad Caps" in the power supply mainly, lots of info on line...

OMG using this old unit is painful.
Well, I guess that eliminates me. My wife, who is actually older than me, gets mistaken for the babysitter. I think I'm doing ok.
