I like that honesty; not because you need anything better or these have any issues, but just want to build something new :D

They look fantastic and I'm sure your new build will be top quality, look forward to seeing it :) . I use those tweeters myself, very good transient response but the limited vertical dispersion can be a bit restrictive. Are the woofers sealed?

Thanks :) Yes it is a complete sealed system.

6thplanet, wow, all beautifully made :)

Those Audax aerogels do have a certain special sound don't they.
I'm a big fan of the Aerogel units...thanks for the kind words guys!
Your 3 way towers are looking good! Your tweeter is the slimmer version of what I used in the first pic. Those were my first venture into planars & ribbon tweeters. Personally it's hard to go back to dome units.

Dear friends,

front pic of my listening room in the basement of my house.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

You see: DIY - Speakers with Jim Thiel SCS 3neo speakers, Behind, at the wall: the bass towers of the front SBA ( Single bass Array ). Also DIY with 8 TangBand W69 Speakers in sealed enclosures.

The rack is also DIY.

The red and blue panels are Absorbers ( of course DIY :D)

Electronic:
Turntable Transrotor Leonardo with SME 3009SII and Grado Silver
Pioneer CD Player from 1993
Active Crossover Alto pc 3
Pioneer C90a Preamplifier
2xPioneer M90a Poweramplifier for front and back SBA
2x Marantz M500 Poweramplifier for Jim Thiel-Speaker

If you are interested at the development of SBA , looks here:

Your English are fine :)
Isn't awesome when you have a dedicated basement audio room?
Here's my basement, yours looks way more "tidy" though

@Konstantin; yes, it was a long way to the dedicated listening room. But is it easier, because my wife is great music fan. :)

Tidiness is not a problem - I'm a german :D:D:D

I see, you owns also a Transrotor Player, or? Compliments! Please, write more to your setup!

@mhouston, thanks for flowers ;)

Bye

Uwe
