Don't use Android SPL meter app is very bad, what do you want to equalize with REW: nodes?

i want to me use rew autoeq to flatten my system response , im not getting as good results with minidsp as i had when my system was passive

Depending your use you must look for:

-Accuracy +-dBs
-Frecuency range
-For professional use or advanced measurements have to be calibrated

If you want go seriuously here you can buy calibrated SPL meter & calibrated mic Cross·Spectrum - Galaxy CM-140 Sound Level Meter

but if you want to be sure REW reads will be better to have both devices calibrated: SPL meter & mic.
