I sent them the question and also asked about crossover designs.

They're hoping to get me the information tomorrow about which drivers they like to go with each model. They also have custom drivers and he said the pricing was pretty good.
They can offer DIY kits that come with the 2-way crossover. He did say he prefers "BMS drivers 4538, 4544, 4550, 4590, 4592, 4594"

I have a JBL 2445 2in driver. Got it from Jammin Jersey. I would advise you to look elsewhere and not buy from the Jammin Jersey guys. I had a terrible experience with them. The drivers had large chunks of metal stuck near the diaphram and it was distorting pretty badly. When I told them, they asked me to send it back with more money for repair and shipping. Ridiculous. I finally got them fixed from a local guy but had to spend more.
Jammin Jersey not recommended. |

For small waveguides use Celestion CDX1-1430. Mylar drivers (BMS, BC, Radian) are preferred. If you take diy kit: JMLC400/350/OS-12+driver+woofer then we can supply crossovers schematics and elements.

Iwata-300 or Tractrix-200 because of compact size and unknown crossover point for this driver. JMLC-200T is twice as big - suited for midrange compression drivers that can be crossed low. Another interesting option is Minphase but again size is almost 1 meter. I have sent this horn-waveguide hybrid for a test with BMS 4590 coax.

Hi,
I'm interested in ordering the 12" OSWG through the Group Buy. I'm also interested in the SEOS waveguides but waiting for the tests. My listening room is 16' wide and about 30'deep with a 7'-8" ceiling. I'm thinking that maybe the Ellipse Oblate Spherical waveguide might mitigate the influence of the low ceiling whereas the Oblate Spheroid would cause more reflections. Any advice on the pros and cons of both designs in relation to my room would be appreciated. ![]() -Roy |
