There are filter cartridges made for almost any situation including soldering, but, masks tend to be hot and sweaty. When I was doing some painting indoors, I got a cardboard carton, cut a hole in the back for a fan (120 mm?) and made a shroud over the fan so it exhausted into a dryer vent hose leading outside. When I was doing a bunch of soldering, though, I just use a 12V fan running from 8.4 V to blow the fumes away. Running it on reduced voltage made it virtually silent.
