The CDSe cells are also sensitive to heat and probably IR which is almost the same in this application. The instructions for the ST1200 say to wait some time after isoldering before attempting to adjust/calibrate.
Digikey lists 7 different optocouplers from Photonix which would be the current "go to" parts. Cells Crossing to the older parts in the Amber will be a chore but once figured out and shared we can all benefit.
