Default infocus sp4800 lamp

YWH
A fair while ago I bought a replacement lamp as a spare for when my original needed replacing
when I received it from you I asked if I should put it in to test it and use original as spare but you said not to bother
well the original is getting dimmer and so I put yours in but nothing...no fan no light just a flashing green light which I assume is a fault error code
I then put original back in and worked straight away
I assume as the original worked after being taken out there is no reset procedure needed to make new lamp work
any idea as to whats wrong
how can I test lamp
send answer to stevejohn54@live.com.au
