I don't think so. DA-X0 support different DAC chips by changing module, and support TCXO on board. It doesn't have analog buffer, so make power supply very simple(easy to use).

Default update

Hi all. I test the cox input today, and set CS8421 to output 96kHz, it's not bad, but when I set it 192kHz, the music sound discontinuous. Also when 44.1kHz signal input, there will be some noise on output because I'm using 24.576Mhz OSC for up-sampling. And all problem is gone when CS8421 is bypassed. In general, I think it will be a good DAC. I will do more work to make it better later.

I will receive a first working sample in a few days, looking forward to try this DAC !
Thanks to everybody for feedback and advice.
This DAC will be possible to make in different versions, with/without TE7022 USB, with/without CS8421 upsampling, and with/without TCXO oscillator. This board can also be used with different DAC's (voltage output only) but we'll start with CS4398.
