DIY OTTAWA WINTER 2012

Ok the first hat is thrown in once again.

I'm willing to work on another DIY audio meet.

I have spoken with a few other gents and I think we can pull it off once again in the same venue.

Time of year will be crucial.

Most likely about the same time as the last winter meet will work for most of us.

What will I bring?

A custom CBT

I have to finish another.

And a two way horn loaded box will be owned by a very happy guy who might bring it if we ask nicely.

I'm working on a very interesting concept box.

I'll post pictures slowly to whet the appetite.

Does anybody think a planning meeting like we have had the other times would be beneficial?

It's a good way to socialize and talk about projects without anyone needing to have projects ready.

Yes, I'm interested in another meeting. Once again, I don't have anything much to bring to show as far as my own DIY efforts, but I really like attending and helping as best I can with set-up, etc. ...it's a great learning & listening experience.

Hey All,

I am in for meet and a luncheon. I really enjoyed the last one. Just not on the weekend of the 17-19 of February please.

I finished a number of projects this summer, but they are way to big to bring to a meet and anyways they are attached to the house. What can they be you ask? They are all impressive.

A new deck, a new solar hot water heater for the pool and a new counter top and back splash.

Sounds like you're going to have to host so we can see all your projects! Will that solar heater keep the water around 90F in February?

I'm in for a lunch, and hopefully the resulting meet as long as the timing works out.

I should have some fun stuff to bring along!
