Anyone knows the TEN DB-44 Amplifier ?

Measure the resistance from the gate leg of the hot transistor to the gate leg of an adjacent transistor. Do you read 200 ohms?

Place the probes on the legs as close to the body of the transistor as possible.

Yes i read 200 ohms from the heating FET gate to the other FET beside.

Remove the one that's heating up and clean the solder pads to ensure that there are no solder bridges. Power up the amp. Do the remaining 3 on that side heat up?

Does the amp still draw excessive current?

After the 200 ohms test i found bad junction at FET gate.
I solder it and now when i power on the amo it draws 440 mA and 11V
The power led doesn't turn on

Very good news! The amp is working but the two rear channels doesnt sound normal. They are very low power and sounds that they can't produce all the frequencies . The front channels work perfect

By the way does anybody know what brand, manufacturer of this amplifier ?
I have never heard before this brand
Maybe it is a clone from another brand ?

There are probably no more than 6 or 8 large build houses in China and Korea that make most all of the amps on the market so many amps have the same basic circuits and layout/look internally.

The exceptions (not a complete list) to the above statement are amps from Rockford, JL, MTX and those produced by the Japanese manufacturers (Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer...).
