Default US Amps VLX3DE

i have this amp in and its dead. i cant get it to do anything. anyone worked one these?

The amp is going into protection now but no voltages on both of the 494 ic.

Follow the circuit back from pin 12 of the 494 to see what's supposed to be driving 12v to it.

ive traced it back to this diode but cant find the data sheet on it

Ok. I found it...trying to work on something half sleep. Anyway the diode is us1m-e3. It read 1.5 with diode check. Its connected to pin 12.

I think that diode is likely across the relay coil (confirm).

If so, you need to follow the trace back farther, possibly all of the way back to the remote turn-on terminal.

I think pin 8 and 12 are connected.the trace for pin 12 goes under the 494. Those the only two pins I read 0 ohms. I'm think the trace leads to the other driver card.

You should read 0 ohms between 8 and 11.

You'll have to follow it back farther.

The trace may go to the other driver board but it may also go somewhere else. The other driver card isn't likely the source of power.
