Is the side of the output filter inductor that's connected to the middle leg of the high-side FETs connected to the negative speaker terminal with a jumper? If not, make that connection. Does the signal clear up?

Many times, when the cores get too hot, they will no longer work as they should. If you're going to wind a new inductor, I'd suggest using new cores. In the Massive (which is very similar to this amp, from what I've seen), two stacked CM330125 cores with 23 turns of 12g wire make a suitable replacement. They run cooler than the originals and are less likely to short because there are no overlapping windings.
