Yes if you dont connect 7439
then it dont startup do to the I2C commands for init 7439
Found a error in trible so you have to get the files again from my server
added the new file into old zip
I see you used Cap for 7439 I plan to use WIMA cap for most
(0.47Uf & 2.2Uf)
here i will use mundorf mkp

this was trial board actuall board when all is done will have the box caps yellow colour box caps, the ones u showed are all dream caps for me,, if i were to get them it would be a nice hole in my pocket which would be like i m buying some low mid range Polk bookshelf speaker in india
Madisound Speaker Store
i'll need atleast say 8 of these so that would $170 odd plus shipping.. god speakers are cheaper than caps,,,
just a wierd point not ment to hurt anyones feeling so dont take it in a wrong way guys
i m in india so dollar conversion really kicks me in the back

try this link
MKP CAPS
Finally the volume control work thanks to Farmtech.
only the LM1117DT-5.0 gettig hot after 5 min the display goes down.
I think you draw to muts current via LM1117DT-5.0
Or your input Volt is to high
can you post the sch or send it via email
ok backlight maybe to high
Framtech, voltage 4,65 volt
what trafo supply volt (AC) do you have and mA ?
can you messure volt before LM1117DT-5.0 and after (4,65 volt)
did you check board for soilder errors ?
@ didiet78 : sorry yes of cause it was current i mean
some backlight use alot of current if setup is wrong and then LM1117DT is working to hard

FarmTech, yes i have check more then 10 times the components
there is no difference between schematic and board.
i use winstar WH1602L-TMI-ET display with no resistors on A-K for the blacklight
i use 14 V AC is this to high?
Well
14VAC = about 20Vdc
9VAC = about 12VDC
try a lower VAC I think thats why you have heating problems
see datasheet Page 4 Output Voltage
it show max 12VDC for high current use

Danzup, in post http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/analog-line-level/149597-yet-another-volume-controlers-source-selections-12.html#post2074525 can i just change PGA2310 with PGA2311 and change analog supply with +/-5V without change the HEX file?

Jempie,
LM1117DT is a low drop regulator. Use a trafo with min 6V ac - max 9V ac.
