AndrewT I think I have spotted the part that is troubling you.
From the +ve terminal of the DC blocking cap there is no connection to R1 (input resistor). So thanks for raising that issue!
Also there is not input attenuation, asI plan on driving this from DAC(yet to be built) I will add the attenuator, placed between the +ve of DC blocking cap and R1, the other end of the cap going to GND.
