Hi all,

I've just registered onto DIY and it looks great. TIA!

I'm currently interested in modelling amplifiers with Spice, so I'll post about that in Solid State.

I built my Leach amp with a couple buddies back in 1980. We made four units, two for stereo and two for 3-channel setups. I don't know about the others, but mine survived a robbery attempt in which the unit was ripped away from the other components, breaking! the audio cables and then dropped onto the floor when he was surprised by my next door neighbor.

After straightening the bent chassis, it still worked fine! Today, I had to re-bias the unit because it was running hot and found that one channel is now oscillating slightly on the peaks of the sine waves. It has a little overshoot on a square wave, so I think something is wrong with the feedback network. We'll see....

Kind Regards to All,

Mundi
