That's the input - nestled between pot and input jack. That's a right space and I was barely able to squeeze a 10uF 100v electrolytic. I think 10uF 16v should fit fine though. What Silmic are you using here?
I'm just using the stock Wima input. The 100uF Silmic is on the output, with
the stock Wima bypass.
I may use the Silmic 4.7's on my NHB builds, but I'm sticking with the stockers for now.
I did find a couple of Nichicon UPW's (470uF/35V) in my stash and put them in at C3.
These will be the only changes I do to this build.
I was listening to some Jesse Cook just now, and began noticing some nasty distortion.
The first thing I did was check the voltage from the Duracell alkies and it was down to
just over 13V. I replaced both and I'm back in business. I guess the rechargeables are
the order of the day for this current hungry little bugger. I think I got maybe 2.5 hours out of the Duracells.

Duracells only hold like 300mAhr or so. Li-ion 9v's are 600mAhr and I have gotten 4.5hrs from mine. Definitely 4hrs solid hrs most of the time.
about 57mA per channel (50mA + 7mA JFET) x 2 ch = 114mA. At this high rate, the batteries will not last as long and also we can't go to 4.8v per battery like the spec.
300mAhr/117mA=2.56hrs

Bogde asked for this over in Head-Fi so thought I would share it here.
If you want to do some "cap rolling" here are some choices to play with - these are for the input and output caps and bypass. All top-shelf name brand stuff here. Elna Silmic II on electrolytic duty and Wima MKS film on bypass. Also, there is the Nichicon AK on the output if you like. Pair that with a 4.7uF Wima for some astounding bass and clear highs with lush smooth mids. For $12 it's cheap thrills and lots of fun listening to differences.
Have fun!

Ok, Team Silmic just entered the room.
4.7uF 25v RFS on input and 100uF 16v RFS on output.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
I am using my AB switchbox and trying to see if I can hear a difference between the 390uF OSCONs and the 100uF 16v Silmc II's. Just not hearing a big difference inn vocals or highs. I think maybe the Wima 1uF is pretty much handling all the highs so not making a big difference?
Good to hear the boards and FETs arrived safely.

I have a weird request. I've got an idea that if I use the Hammond enclosure that I linked to previously, I could run four batteries using two clips like these:
http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/215/27-741524.pdf
I need to know how wide the EBL batteries are to see if it would work, so I would appreciate it if someone here who has them could measure the width of one of them.
Thanks.

They are same as standard 9v but maybe 2mm thicker. Wire in series parallel? The one cell that drops and cuts out first will take one side down. Make sure it is series then parallel not vicve versa as one cell cuts out the whole string of 4. I don't have access to mine right now.
