The picture from their site shows the layout.

Because it comes as a kit, upgrades I think would be as simple as using an upgraded part during assembly. As for by passing the volume pot, you could not use it and just jumper the pads on the pcb.

Disclaimer: The Winsome amplifier is my product.

The volume control can be bypassed, simply jumper it if you're building the kit or ask for it that way in the assembled units. The control of your choice would be included loose should you want to add it later. You might might want to keep it in the circuit and leave it at maximum (or at a convenient setting for the volume range you want with the preamp of your choice). At maximum the volume control is effectively out of the signal path in series, and represents a simple 50K resistor to ground.

The input capacitors can be upgraded relatively easily, but some premium caps are quite large physically and could be a tight squeeze. The input caps won't ever see more than ten volts, so lower-voltage-rated capacitors are more likely to easily fit into the case.

Stock caps are Solen/Bennic or Illinois MWR. Two sets of pads on the board allow a number of choices such as MIWA, etc.
