from buffer to source
I like the way this thread is moving from a buffer to a source discussion.
For my ears and neural system there is no doubt what sounds more like the original: Vinyl will win over CD.
Even second hand, surface noise or not, vinyl sounds more comfertable and less tiring.
I do use Marantz CD80 for CD and Project 9/ZYX cartridge for vinyl.
And yes CD has an high level ease in use.
Question to Carlos: I have searched the threads on this marvelous inspiring website but was not able to find , WHAT (design) PHONO HEADAMP are you using?
I do like your preamp/buffer design (building/sourcing components at the moment)
E&E
