BAD TIMING.

Maybe Diyaudio had better use this software instead.

None of this is really DIYaudioforum's doing but some server at Sitepoint is definitely loosing tack of time.
May be a change of battery would help to revive the RTC?

jason wake up and set the thing to GMT please,my fingertips are hurting typing away like hell.:D

I actually had to just reset the time on my server. 1 hr 20 min. An hour for the change from Daylight savings time, and 20 minutes due to clock drift (PC manufactures consider 5 min drift per month to be within acceptable limits).

My home Mac goes out to the atomic clock and updates it's clock every 24 hours (built-in to the OS).

I have set DSClock to sync every 6th hour (selectable)
and taken away the Microsoft Clock in the tray.
I have selected a nice format and font on the DSClock
and placed it where I want it on the screen.
I do not have it "always on top". Also selected a suitable .wav to strike on top of hour. (Big Ben scared me into nervousness!!!)

Battery
Isn't it fascinating!!?!:
Most Computers are outdated long before
the clock driving litium?-battery is empty.
In other words:  A computer doesn't last as long as a battery!

Not in MacLand, where a computer has a useful life of 6-7 years (and then will often get donated to a poor school for another couple years use). I'm selling batteries all the time.

OK GUYS...

Peter,

No one can beat you Blue Leddie.

Now that I've just finished dinner having had the equivalent of your Chile con carne but with white beans (a cassoulet)you better stay clear of my exhaust.

I am not surprised. It looks like you want to beat my average of posting.

Whatever gave you that idea?

Alright,I admit it I got a gantlet thrown my way.

The jealous ones:

J.H.
PhrrrrrH.
PerrrrrrrrrrrrA.(not him as such but others worried about the quota)

Ratrace.

Cutting to the chase now,promise...;)
