I just bought some little Vifa 5.25" and they have good response clear on to 5KHz and really beyond if you look at these specs.

Would one consider this full-range? What are the critical high frequencies? Would a little woofer like this handling it all not sound good?

Not full range for me. I'd like to believe that I can still hear to 15kHz, so a driver has to be reasonably flat to at least that frequency.
Looking at the Vifa's fr plot, the response is falling pretty fast beyond 10k. I don't think that is "full range" for anyone, unless you suffer from severe hearing loss.
