This has real merit
There is an important DIY point imbedded here, which is that given the
particular sound of an amplifier (or other component) there are often
inexpensive ways of adjusting it in a particular direction...
That's why I chose to use my F3 without feedback. Loaded with 15 ohm at output, a bit of correction with 6 uF cap + 13.5 ohm resistor across speaker terminals gives me the sound I like
