I have done a search, and I dont see a Forum for questions like "how to use the diyAudio Forums", (although may I just cant find it) so I will ask this question here :
Is there a way to save a thread, ie download a text file of a thread that you find really interesting ? I know I can just come back and read it again later, but there are some things I just like to have in my own files. (mid 20th century mentality I suppose ) I know I can cut and paste, and I have done that a few times, but I was wondering if there was some button to click on or something that would do it in one step.
Or what about saving a link to a thread, is there a way to do that ?
thanks.

Yes sure there is a way to save a thread on your computer.
1- Open the thread you want to keep.
2- Go at the bottom of the page and click "Show Printable Version"
3- Go at top of the page and click "Show all ### posts from this thread on one page"
4- After that you can print it in a Pdf files or save it as a HTML page.
Voila.
