This is an ancient thread but an interesting take on water cooling.

There's a guy in England who water cools his computer and uses the ground outside his house as a heat sink. Apparently, at UK latitudes, ground temperature is around 8 deg C all year round at about 5 feet below the surface.

A high speed pump, some plumbing and you too can have a, for instance, tiny 4 inch x 4inch amp running class A, and not be heating up the house. On the other hand, if ground temperature is indeed that low, heating is just what you want.

Power supply would have to be external though. Hmm, maybe you could just build single driver active F amps instead with external power supply and water cooling...But what's the point?
