Yes, I sanded the brass pins to make them uniform. They're really tiny brass tubes, so after sanding I'll be able to insert the resistor's wire into them.
I just tested all the contacts. All functional. The way my springy contacts work is as follows: I made loops of brass and inserted an empty wire shell inside. The springs fall between two sets of previous resistors, and the contact is made to the third row. Kinda hard to explain.
