Yes it possibly is a normal IR Led. Measure it like you measure a Led for Bib with DMM or other way and find Vf. You will see no light but you should read forward drop.

Bottom anode voltages much closer to 180V predictions than before. Keep the IR.

There is a way to increase the bottom anode voltage near 180V for the 2nd tube that have only 174V?

Better not, normal tube differences and close enough nonetheless. Even consider two sections are interacting from top to bottom.

First to change the connections for E283CC I wanna be test changing the two 1N4148 for the IR LEDs, I measured the voltages as attached picture, are OK?
