Looks a fairly typical example of the type; this sort of box has a small following in Japan. Fostex used to offer a spiral design for the old FE108Sigma; fell by the wayside when the ESigma range was introduced & they standardised the high-positioned terminus configuration for all three units.
Hi Scott, I have some old Radio Shack 1197s I'd like to put into a box of some kind and thought this might be as good as any. I've already done tall and slim with the bk101 (I gave them away to someone who loves them), BIBs using Fostex 127e (which is one of my favorite speakers), 165k and 168z. This chunky box looks easy and fun to build. If it sounds good enough I may even keep it.

Hi Godzilla.
Have you tried the UZU ? I am interested but I don't find a lot of feedback .
A good feedback here:

quite similar to a Cornu any thoughts on trying this with foamcore?
Should work with FC. Dead simple to make. I would do it but busy with other projects piling up and just made a flat MLTL with A7.3 that is about same size but different principle of operation.
