Does any body has experience with USB DAC from www.diyeden.com?

Hello every body

I'm gonna have a USB DAC from diyeden.com which is distributed by http://www.diykits.com.hk/dac.html, (all are chinese diyer). The DAC look very nice and price is reasonable. I have ordered the diyeden DAC SVDAC04-U
Burr Brown PCM1716, PCM2704 D/ACoaxial, Optical, USB Input
Headphone, Coaxial, RCA

THis is the second from bottom up (DAC page/diyeden)

The link is here http://www.diykits.com.hk/dac.html
and the picture is here http://www.diykits.com.hk/images/svdac04.jpg

They have produced several good DAC which cause some stir in several forums recently. But I couldn't find any good review the all of those listed in the website.

Does any body of you here have experience with the same DAC as I bought? Any sharing in terms of review or modding it is appreciated.

My AW-D3 has been up and running for a few days now, sounds good.

No output initially from the TDA1543 cuz I forgot to short J3 but a blob of solder fixed that.

At full vol and no signal, computer noise was noticeable using the Burr Brown headphone output. Less so when using the TDA1543 but still a bit annoying. As I'm using an ATX psu to power my modded T-Amp I ran its 5v line to the TDA 1543 circuit and that just about eliminated the noise problem. (5v to the Burr Brown is from the usb.)

Some problems with usb dropouts/lockups and not sure where to start. My antique washing machine made media player lock up every time its relay switched. With a 'surge protector' powerstrip going to the PC it went to the next track instead of a lock up. Pulling my routers power supply from the same power strip caused problems as well. Even got problems from the washing machine when using a laptop running from its battery. Maybe the usb cable acts as an aerial?

The drop outs seem to be time of day (and washing machine) dependant. Most of the time the dacs work just fine.
