Gefco is long gone.
Wonder if any Gefco speakers were made after Hal Gefvert stopped being president of Gefco in 1995?

American firm Adire Audio is also out of the business. Was a well established, renowned co. with lot of technological inovations there to see from Mr Dan Wiggins and his works, especially his spit gap motor and XBL2.. His Bhramha and Shiva drivers were quite popular and highly acclaimed.

Last I looked, Dan was still in the biz. He's at Sonos in beautiful Santa Barbara. Sounds like a great gig! His early work was built by Eminence, and the Brahma woofers were made in Nevada by the company that now makes Stereo Integrity woofers. SI even lists Adire drivers on their site.
