Thank Arnulf.

My Output transformer used EI66,pri 10K(2.5K-0-2.5K),second 8 ohm.

Number of turns pri : 1600T x 2, wire 0.18mm

Number of turns sec: 90T cheap 3,wire 0.5mm.

Ultra low cost by tube $0.5/1pcs, PCB two layer $8/1pcs( 24x32 cm),chassis $3.5,OPT EI66 $3.5,Power trans $3.5...

My design schematic and PCB,resistor,capacitor...very low cost.

BRAVO!!! Well done!

Now THATs DIY.

Way to go!

Awesome prices, no wonder you managed to squeeze it in at less than $50. Over here in Europe you couldn't get the PCB done for that price, or purchase output transformers, or all other stuff for that matter :(

What I find interesting is that you decided to leave tube sockets on sam side of the PCB as all those other components. If sockets were on the other side it would be trivial to mount the PCB into a wooden or metallic box with only tubes and transformers sticking out - you know, the "classic" tube amplifier look ? ;)

How about power tarnsformer ?? How many turns did U use ???
It's very interesting project.
Can U teach me how to wind your transformer ???

I used OPT push pull 10K:8:4 ohm hand made
Tube: 6922,EL84,5U4G
Resistor Dale RN65
Capacitor power: Philips BC
...

:D

Great Diy Hien,:smash:

Nice design to.

You can make low cost printed circuit-boards i believe looks very slick. I would have to pay 60dollar for a one off piece.
Do you have a electronics engineering background Hien.

How about the sound of your new El84 design. Witch speakers do you use?

You have to show more detailed information about how to make a OTP by hand. I see C-core :magnet:

Keep on the good work and low cost Hien that is what DIY needs. Regards Helmuth.

VNAV • View topic - Ultra Low Cost (ULC) - EL84 Push Pull

OPT types they have used include: C core, EI96 (M6 standard), EI66 (same type of national)
Here are some pictures that they did.

I'm sorry people because they do not ask for permission to post these images.
