Intelligibility is great.
1808 highs seem fine, but watch on the freq graph for +5db from 1.5khz to 3.5khz. That "presence" region is a bit hot.
I can't understand why no one has mentioned it before.

I am very satisfied with mine. I didnt use filter at all, only a little toe in. Now i will build a OB to them with Tang Band ribbon tweeter on top and 2 x Eminence 15A in the bottom driven by Hypex sub amps.

PS, Klipsch is hotter in the presence area than theese Tang Bands.

Yup, they are just a little hot for me, not that my ears are more correct than anyone elses. On my 10 band eq, the 1khz setting at 0db, the 2khz setting at -9db, 4khz at 0db. The q of the bands is usually wide on cheapie equalizers.

Soon I'll be doing something for the bass. Currently I'm not thrilled, but it is performing exactly as designed (open baffle that has an Feq around 180hz with superior intelligibility).
