In many cases it makes the difference between listening to an amp in a plush living room rather than a dusty, acoustically crappy garage. An amp's being labeled as "cute" is all it takes in many cases!

Thats the way Bose got their fame: WAF. They sold lots of those clock radio speakers that way because thier "cute little things" persona.
