How is that possible I hear you ask, well we all know a lot of AV amps sound bold and ballsy as they are designed to showcase movie soundtracks (who can forget the explosion in true lies when the guard asks Arnie if he can see his invitation) that explosion shakes most floorboards on a good home cinema install. But what about the more intimate moments in a movie and what if you are using your AV amp to also listen to cd's and sacd's through something like an Oppo?

Well help is at hand, ladies and gentlemen I give you the iFI Audio i-tube. This small device plugs in line with your amp and cd or dvd or blu ray players analogue outputs and inputs to turn it into a valve amp! The harshness of solid state will dis-appear as the sound takes on a whole new level of detail, if you want to hear what a good valve amp sounds like without the financial outlay the i-tube could very well be just what you have been looking for. I have used it myself but will leave judgment to people who already use it. The i-tube sells for £275 on my website with my usual 30 day money back guarantee. I put a large photo below so you can read what it does on the product itself.
