I suppose that makes sense, since those frequencies are known to make the greatest punch in the midriff. 120db at frequencies around 77hz feels good!

when i stand in front of my horn,i get 125dbA (rs spl meter measured) with 20watts

i find it rather nice, when i get 350w on my lab12 horn il get that in the MIDDLE of my room where i sit (+-8db on room modes lol)

OK, I know this thread has gone mad already.
Well, I already started it mad.....

I played around a little bit and found that a sub which is situated
close to the stomach feels much better than a sub close to the
back (already at moderate levels). So a sub seat seems not to be the most satisfiyng thing...
How about a small and light sub, with a moveable carrier in order to position the bass source at any desired place?
Already somebody here with experiences in this regard?

How about a 4th-order bandpass box with a large-diameter long flexible port tube? Leave the box on the floor and just point the tube at whatever part of your body you wish to abuse.
