Adding extra windings whould not affect the other windings' voltage outputs. THe main consideration is to not exceed the toriod's total maximum VA capacity - which is fairly unlikely with most of these heavy duty Antek trannies.

The extra winding's voltage will drop somewhat under load, so plan on adding about 10-15% extra voltagewith no current load.

The other major consideration if you are adding a 5V rectifier winding, is that this winding will carry the fill B+ voltage, so insulate accordingly, use the aforementioned Kapton tape of similar, to prevent HV to chassis arc-overs.

Sorry, of course you are correct. I was confused, and thinking about inductors in series on a common core. In that case, there is mutual inductance to consider and the total inductance of both windings in series is Lt = L1 + L2 +/- 2M (depending on whether they are connected in phase or out).

If the windings are not connected to each other, this isn't an issue.
