This references the heater to the B+, the reason for this is so that the Heater to Cathode votage doesn't exceed the rated value. The rectifier is an indirectly heated tube with a 6.3v filament, so they are all ran off of the same winding. I've read that you want the recifier to be the first tube on the heater string.

I got the values out of the tube manual for an Aikido line stage, I'm sure that they are not "optimal" but it seems to be working out.
