Hi All,
I've got a pretty basic question about hooking up a transformer. the wiring diagram for the hammond 270cx shows
} * Red (275v)
} * Red/Yellow (0v)
} * Red (275v)
do the two reds go the rectifier, and the 3rd to ground? or do you combine the reds, and connect them and the 0v to the rectifier? or something else.
Also, regarding unused taps. do these get tied together?

The red wires go to the rectifier and the red/yellow wire is the center tap and is grounded.
The other wires are the filament windings. Do not electrically tie them together. If you're not going to use them just keep them insulated from each other.
What kind of amp are you building? Be very careful when dealing with mains voltage.
