hehe BUMP!
Boy, been a while since i thought about this stuff....
It looks like this thread morphed mostly into a PSU discussion - with few impressions of the actual original style NS-10 clone as designed here.
I'm looking for a 'lightweight' discrete linestage to integrate into a project, and this PASS pre looks ideal. I like the RIAA option as well!
If you actually built this as re-designed here....
How did it all work out? Any odd issues? Sound? (loaded question there )
Thanks all!
Apass - YGM, in a minute.

Should be good, or you could parallell two 22uF or five 10uF or something.
Thanks R-K,
I am trying to understand why such a large value was chosen. Was the goal to 'fold over' just above DC?
I'm probably missing an important aspect of what's happening.
or you can make iteration with bipolar PSU and get rid of it
Oh boy, there you go again, complicating things for me
Seriously, I want to make one like the original - maybe just a little different. Russ' thread has everything one needs to make a bipolar NS-XY. I am sure that one is great.
