DIY Friends, If You Please, A Question: What's the the most cost affective brand & model of transformer that will deliver an adequate heater supply to (8) 6AS7's rated @ 6.3V - 2.5A. I do not want to to use or waste any other robust trannies that I already have and need for other projects. So if You would Please bestow some of Your Prowess upon Me, I will be most grateful. Your help would most certainly be appreciated. Thanks
New 12V 12.5A DC Universal Regulated Switching Power Supply | eBay
You can adjust the output in the 10% range. So 12.6V should be possible. Otherwise you can still reengineer the secondary side and adjust the voltage divider for the error amp for 12.6V output.
$8.99 is really hard to beat. You asked for it...

I own the 15A version, it scales to 13v plus change. Reliable too. Haven't used it in new amp design but it worked great in old one
