One poor chap was shot by the indians and then scalped.... That's a bad day!!!
In the UK they took off the entire head!!! Usually after performing some other entertaining things like being drawn and quartered or hanged. OTOH I'm not so sure that we have progressed from those days..... but I'm gonna shut up before Cal tosses me into the sin bin...
