We have music in the local park and other places that we get to hear from our balcony but tonight is different.They have some special DJ doing canned music and I've not seen the likes of this before. The whole park is cordoned off, you have to buy tickets, there is heavy police presence and there is more of the 16-26 variety of nature's viagra, wearing clothing their mothers would not approve of, than I can remember. They started soon after noon and it's right across from the train station I pick up Hanh from, so I suggested a brief detour on the way home. It didn't take her long to figure things out seeing that she had arrived on one of the trains carrying these 'treasures of youth'.
I was feeling young myself till I made the mistake of catching my reflection in a storefront window. Don't do that. ok so the memories might carry me through the evening.
Wait, the whole point of this was to say that we live 900 meters (straight line) from the source and by ruddy-be-jabbers, the bass is invading my chest, not kidding. I am guessing this one will gather its share of complaints. Right now there is yelling and language that is scaring the phuk outta me. I am thinking this is a one off. I'm grabbing my bottle of rum and going to hide somewhere underground.
Our place is upper right, the park is lower left.
