Go away with that talk sbjacob. I dont want to hear anything about a FLH being punchier than a TH.LOL :D

I say this because I still need to build my TH vs FLH and see which I like better. I look forward to Ricci's next design which wont be public but should make plenty of SPL using an IPAL 21.

Sine143 is that your roadie to move all the cabinets for you. :)?

our next sub build is a 50x52.5x25.5 FLH loaded with a single 21sw15s :p

1v1, it has about a 3db sensitivity advantage at 30hz, and about a 7db advantage above 50 (flattening when stacked).

16 Othorns stacked up at an event. LOL. I've got to come out that way to hear this one of these days. I can only imagine what that sounds like when a 25 or 30Hz note drops in.

50x52x25.5 That's a 39cu ft cab! (Othorn is "only" 18cu ft for reference.) I hope you are putting casters on those. They'll be pushing 350lbs. That's even bigger than the 47x47x28 cabs I'm working on to replace my GH's.

Josh, I'm expecting those will weigh 400+ lbs. the ones we will be building will be for a permanent install. I swear I sent you some pics of it in the design phase.

funny thing is... the client keeps thinking that we said the cabs were 60x72x36 for some reason LOL.... 90cubic feet.

Since we are back on the Orhorn. Wonder if sbjacob has tested them yet...

Sorry for the late response been super busy yes I did sell the Othorns they are now being used back east by one of the New Jersey Performing Arts Centers Engineers along with 4 SPL td-1's I sold him he is super impressed at there clean low response and is wanting 2 more and 4 more td-1's. In fact they were delivered to NJPAC and all the engineers agreed the td-1's were the best sounding boxes they have heard and they have had all the best in there over the years.

TD-1?

Never heard this acronym before.

Hello everyone!
I want to build 2 Oth tomorrow.
Would there be a problem if I cut the hole for the driver in the bafle direcly for an 18 inch instead of the 21?
I have 2 18sw115 and I don't think I will use the 21 in these 2 in the future so no need for the adaptor plate.
Plus, that would save me a bb sheet :)
